Wormleysburg

Named for its English founder, John Wormley, this West Shore community is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy views of the scenic Susquehanna River from one of many award-winning restaurants. Wormleysburg is a little town in Cumberland Valley, less than a square mile in size, yet bursting with hospitality and charm. It's hard to believe that this oasis of relaxation is located just minutes from more bustling cities like Harrisburg and Carlisle.

April 2010: Forbes ranked Carlisle-Harrisburg (Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry) as No. 5 on its “most livable cities” list.
June 2010:
Forbes ranked Carlisle-Harrisburg (Cumberland, Dauphin and Perry) as No. 2 among America's best places to raise a family.

Fast ‘n Fun Fact: Wormleysburg has a commanding view of Harrisburg's City Island Park, dubbed the "Central Park" of Central Pennsylvania.
